Forged 4x4's Pegasus Ford Bronco build is one crazy machine, but all the upgrades add up to create a car that costs over $100,000.
The Ford Bronco is easily one of the most badass off-roaders in the world right now. It's been hugely popular since Ford unleashed it a couple of years ago. Recently, the guys over at Forged 4x4 unveiled their rather wild and badass Bronco called Pegasus. It is a fully off-road capable 2022 Wildtrack Bronco, that features an incredible array of features and add-ons. But all those features come with a price tag, and they all add up to make this SEMA build quite expensive.
But just how expensive is this Bronco? Luckily for us, Forged 4x4 have gone through the Pegasus build to reveal just how much it actually costs. The plethora of features across the build add up to make it quite the pricey Bronco. But for fans of hardcore off-roading, that might not be an issue.

Before you can even get your hands on this Bronco, you would need a base Bronco Wildtrack. So that will set you back some $49,475 before you have even considered the Government taxes which come to $5,600. That is before you include the dealer markups on the Ford SUV. So you are already over $50,000 before you are getting to the mods on this car. The mods start at the with the ADD Series off-road bumpers at the front and back which cost $1,920. The Alpha Nova Series headlights are $1,675. Expensive for lights but very cool.
Some of the mods are a little bit more internal such as the stage three steering kit which comes in at $1,295. This kit will enhance the handling of the Pegasus Bronco when you take it off the beaten track. One of the more expensive components on the Bronco is the Baja pre-runner kit, with the suspension and six-inches of lift. This came out at $6,234. This is certainly one of the pricier parts of this build, although the most expensive is yet to come. The 37-inch tires from Cooper are $2,450 but you will want the best tires possible if you are into extreme off-roading.
The cost for this Bronco build is already adding up, but it does not stop there. Some additions and changes are a little bit less pricey than others. For example, the tire reinforcement from BroncBuster is only $398 while the Baja kit pivot plate is $375. The light bar itself, with its very bright lights is also one of the cheaper components coming in at $579. So you won’t struggle to see where you are going at night. Especially with this $1,560 roof light kit from Baja Designs.
We are sure many of you are doing the mathematics as the video goes on and realizing just how much this build will cost overall. Remember, this all comes on top of the base cost for the Bronco as well. Then there are the labor costs that Forged 4x4 have paid as well in order to get this Bronco up to the standard they want it. Some of the more expensive components also include the color matching hood, fenders and quarter panels. That all came to $5,000 for the Bronco.
The most expensive part of this Bronco build might actually come as a surprise. It isn’t just one upgrade that’s added up to a hefty cost. Forged 4x4 say that they updated the technology package and the sound system on the Bronco. They also put a Sasquatch Edition package on it, while it already had leather seats and 35-inch tires plus a bunch of other things. All of those extras and upgrades added up to $8,730 making this the most expensive aspect of the entire build.
We haven’t even covered everything that this Bronco has. Such as the black metallic wrap that Pegasus has, and that came to some $4,500. We would say that is very much money well spent as the Bronco looks spectacular in this black wrap. In fact, the whole vehicle looks great.

With everything added onto the base cost of the Bronco, the total comes at $111,470. This means this might be one of the most expensive Bronco builds in the world right now. That is quite the hefty sum of money, but as Forged 4x4 say it is quite the world-class rig. The best bit of all is that Forged 4x4 are gibing this Bronco away too, and with some $15,000 as well. So not only might you get a sweet new ride for yourself, but you will get some cash to spend on a few little extras too. We would say that is one big win-win scenario.
