BMW has just introduced the 2024 X6 SUV. Despite its name, the X6 has a sloped roof that actually makes it a smaller SUV than the X5. The freshened-up look doesn't seem to stray too far from the basic formula of giving customers a sharper option than standard high-roof crossovers. See detailed photos of the new X6 inside and out in our photo gallery.
BMW slimmed the headlights on the new X6 and added arrow-shaped running lights.
The X6 xDrive40i starts at $74,895, with the M60i xDrive starting considerably higher at $94,595.
The base 40i powertrain in the X6 has a new turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with increased horsepower and torque for new totals of 375 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque.
The curved display in the X6 houses a 12.3-inch digital dash and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen behind one piece of glass.
An ambient light bar with LED backlighting is integrated into the dash.
The optional Executive package includes goodies like a glass gear selector toggle, glass start/stop button, and glass iDrive controller.
The standard seats are wrapped in Sensafin upholstery, a faux-leather material with a quilted design.
The X6 can be optioned with the M Sport Professional package which includes a matte black kidney grille surround, black chrome exhaust tips, and darkend M Shadowline lights.
The X6 comes with a selection of standard, M, and BMW Individual alloy wheels in 20-, 21-, and 22-inch sizes.
